Aspen Ladd's journey in combat sports began at 14 years old. After her kickboxing and boxing lessons, BJJ and wrestling, she began her professional debut with Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd kept building on her win during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought for three straight wins. She defeated all her opponents within the first round. In the following fight, she was back at WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen as she beat Cynthia by a majority vote. Cynthia's amateur record was marred. Ladd recovered from the loss through defeat of Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen has signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her professional career. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and was able to dominate her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta Fc 16 represented her first match with a bantamweight. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar submission during the second round. Aspen employed her impressive fighting skills to defeat McGill and ended her fight via the third round TKO(elbows and punches). Aspen was then matched against Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy as her catchweight (138.1lb), because Ladd was not able to make Weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy to the point that she finished her with a TKO. Invicta FC21 was her final match for the company. The winner was Sijara Ebanks with a majority decision. Her UFC debut came on UFC Fight Night 118 at which point she faced Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina, and used ground-and-pound to take the win via TKO in the second round. In her subsequent fight, she defeated Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd finished Evinger in the opening round and was awarded the evening bonus. Her debut fight was during her subsequent fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. The two fighters had an intense battle that concluded with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and both fighters earning one of the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within just 16 seconds, which was enough ending her win streak. Then she bounced back to win Yana Kunitskaya, in the 3rd round on UFC on ESPN 7. Her most recent bout for the UFC she faced Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. The fight was a unanimous decision.
