Anne Celeste Heche, an American actress who is well-known for her work on films and television in a variety of genres. Her first recognition came as Vicky Hudson, and Marley Love from the soap opera Another World (from 1987-1991), she won two Soap Opera Digest Awards. The late 1990s saw her rise to prominence with her roles in the crime-drama films Donnie Brasco and Volcano, the horror film I Know What You Did Yesterday Summer and the political comedy Wag the Dog. Anne Lockhart is an American actress. Her birth name is Anne Kathleen Maloney on September 6, 1953. She is best known for her character of Lieutenant Sheba in the Battlestar Galactica television series (1978-1979). Her mother is actress June Lockhart and granddaughter of actor Gene Lockhart. Her professional journey began early. When she was just 4, Lockhart starred as T is for Tumbleweed. It was nominated for an Oscar Award for the short film. The mother and daughter spent many hours together in the set, and learning about the industry. Lockhart was featured in a variety of episodes of Lassie. Dora in Jory, 1972 was her first film. The Sixth Sense was a TV show that ran from 1972. At the age of 18, she played Joan Crawford, Joan's daughter. Joan acted in this episode for the final time. It is believed that Anne refused to play Laurie Strode, the character in John Carpenter's 1978 horror film Halloween. The character was given to Jaime Lee Curtis. John. Carpenter says that he would like her to play the role however she decided to turn her back. Anne is unable to remember John Carpenter having contacted her or even offering her the job. Agents might have turned down the opportunity in her name and not even known. Glen Larson chose her initially and gave her a preliminary written script. She was to appear in the television series Battlestar Galactica, which aired from 1978. Initially, she rejected the role because she thought it was too weak. Glen created a completely brand new character, Sheba and it was more powerful. The Living Legend was accepted following her reading of the original 25-page script. The film ran for one season. The actress starred alongside Desi Arnaz Jr. (son of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) Melanie Griffith and Robert Carradine in the movie Joyride (1977) and co-starred along with Michael Moriarty in the horror movie The Dark Tower (1987).
